This cologne is amazing. The scent is a little strong initially, but then it disappears and stays on all day. I like the scent because it lingers and you can see the look on the person next to you once they get a whiff of it as you walk by. I have not been disappointed yet with any of the fragrances from Alt.

Emerald Isle (on a Budget!)

Alright, folks, gather 'round, because I've got a story to tell about a fragrance that's been gracing my skin lately: Mohair. Now, if you're anything like me, you've probably heard whispers (or roars) about the legendary Creed Green Irish Tweed. It’s crisp, verdant, "I just rode a horse through the Irish countryside and now I'm going to a black-tie event" vibe is undeniably alluring. But let's be real, the price tag often feels like it requires selling a small, non-essential organ.
Enter Mohair. I stumbled upon this clone, frankly, with a healthy dose of skepticism. Could it truly capture that iconic scent without demanding a second mortgage? The answer, my friends, is a resounding, "Hold my pint of Guinness, because yes!"
From the very first spray, Mohair transported me. It’s not just a scent; it’s an experience. I'm talking about that invigorating blast of fresh-cut grass, like you've just walked onto a perfectly manicured golf course on a dewy spring morning. But it's not just green; there's a sophisticated underlying richness, a hint of lemon and perhaps some subtle florals that keep it from veering into "lawnmower exhaust" territory.
What really blows me away about Mohair is how it manages to be both refreshing and incredibly refined. It's the kind of fragrance that makes you feel instantly put-together, even if you're just wearing sweatpants (don't ask how I know this). It projects confidence without shouting, and it lasts surprisingly well on my skin, quietly lingering for hours like a fond memory of a perfect day.
Is it a 1:1, molecular-level identical twin to Green Irish Tweed? Honestly, who cares? What Mohair does, it does brilliantly. It captures the spirit, the essence, the vibe of its inspiration, and it does so at a price point that doesn't make your wallet weep. If you've been curious about that classic "Irish" scent but your budget has been giving you the side-eye, do yourself a favor and give Mohair a whirl. You might just find yourself booking a metaphorical trip to the Emerald Isle, no passport required.
