Simply Noir lies between the border of modernity and antiquity. Opening with a strong note of tea, sweet fig, and bergamot all with a slight supporting cedar wood undertone. Moving on to the early heart, the aromatic black tea accord depends, taking on a mildly smoky Tobac-like faucet blended with the underlying smell of wood. As Simply Noir dries down the gears shift as the aromatic tea accord vacates musk, gentle vetiver, and a touch of vanilla begin to appear to finish.

I compared the tester to The Noir 29 by Le Labo and after a few minutes of sitting on the skin, the ALT version smelled almost indistinguishable! Super happy with this product.

I seriously think this is an exact replica and excellent dupe for the Tom Ford fragrance that we all loved to get but for the fraction of the price. This is an honest review and I had my hesitations about ordering from the site, but once we started ordering between everyone in our family, we realize that it’s a great alternative so that we don’t have to be spending on designer perfumes when you really can just pay for a fraction by like three or four times the amount with these kind of prices.

Simply noir was different than I expected, it’s still a good scent, just not what I had imagined based on the scent notes provided. It smells more rose-like to me rather than like tea, and there’s a clear lack of sweetness as well. It does evoke a sense of ‘noir’, as it says on the tin, just in a different way. It is strong but not overbearing, very unisex as well.
